The stunning Plodda Falls waterfall is 151 feet (46 metres) tall, inside Glen Affric National Nature Reserve, surrounded by majestic Douglas firs whose needles smell of tangerines. Bliss! It’s undisputedly the tallest and most spectacular waterfall in the region and the journey to and from it is beautiful too!
The new viewing platform at the River Affric offers a fantastic view from the top of the falls. In the areas surrounding this it is not uncommon to see red deer, golden eagles and mountain hares. You can find the River Affric car park at the end of the public road, so this is actually a great place to start.
